The MG ZA & ZB Magnette were produced from modified Wolseley bodies from after the Austin/ Nuffield amalgamation into BMC and ended with the Nuffield designed body with an Austin Engine fitted within. They were produced from 1953 right up until 1968. The Magnette was the first MG to have the 'Unity Body/ Chassis construction' which only improved on its handling. Using the B series Austin Engine meant it benefitted from the improved technology.
