The Austin Healey "Frogeye" Came about from a chat between Donald Healey, his son Geoffrey and Leonard Lord in 1955, it was to be based on the tiny Austin A35. So ADO- 13 was released on the 31st January 1958 and 48999 were produced by the end of production.
The Sprite, managed 42.5 bhp from a slightly warmed 948cc engine from the A35. They were built at Abingdon they weighed with full tank 660 kg and had a top speed of 79mph.
