J2 Vans were introduced in 1956 as a 15cwt express van. a great payload for a smallish van and a popular van with unique styling in a full steel body and with a wrap around screen. In 1961 they became available with a 1489cc diesel engine and later with a slightly more punchier 1622cc Diesel as well. At this stage it became the J2-M16
