The first of the Healeys, this gem was produced by Austin at Longbridge in the same factory as the MG TC, it was powered by the 2660cc ohv engine from the Austin A90. It was shown as the Healey 100 at the Earls Court Motor Show in September 1952 and they took more orders than they could cope with. Austin made an agreement to build them and the Healey/ Austin agreement was made and the legend began.
