The Morris Minor was first released in 1948 and after producing more than 1.6 Million they finished production in 1972... to say it was a good seller is quite an understatement, quite a legacy to its Designer Alec Issingonis the Turkish Born designer. They were produced in three series. The original MM model which i suppose just stood for 'Morris 'Minor from 1948- 52, the series 2 which ran from 1953 to just 1956, and finally the series 3 which went from 1956 to 1971.
