Morris Commercial started production in the final moments before the Second World War (1939 and early 1940) and in 1946 resumed production of PVs and they continued until 1953, which means they were the very last vehicle to use the now ill fated 2050cc Morris NPFC/3 Engine. All up there were 15,769 PVs produced. They haven't fared well over time as their birch frames and tin covered plywood body panels rotted and fell to pieces once they were retired and delegated to the back corner of the factory lot.
