Fuel System and Exhaust Parts For the LC4 and LC5- The LC4 got the Cab from the larger Morris NV 6 cylinder with narrower guards to fit the new 16" tyres and wheels, same bonnet and grille too.
The old NPFC/3 engine found its last placement in this truck too, 2050cc ohv 4 cylinder petrol of 42 bhp. This was a short lived model that was produced from June 1952- at chassis number 28647 and discontinued a year later at Chassis number 30871. By this time Morris Commercial Cars were now under BMC control and there were changes on the horizon.
1953 Austin and Morris are as one and The New LC5 had arrived, visually looking the same as the previous LC4- the LC5 now had a more economical and more powerful Austin 2.2 litre engine. The LC5 30cwt was produced until the end of January 1960
